Present distribution: From eastern Nigeria, Cameroon east to Zaire, Gabon, Congo to the mouth of the river Congo and Cabinda.

Hunting methods: With beaters, dogs, nets and from a hide.
Remarks: No subspecies listed: very little known about biology, information required. Probably also distributed in northern Angola along the river Congo.
